Dressage Niagara is a not-for-profit sports organization that supports dressage in the Niagara region (which stretches from the South shore of Lake Ontario to the North shore of Lake Erie, from Niagara Falls in the East to Grimsby & Caistorville in the West).
Membership is open to anyone interested in dressage, riders and supporters, seniors and juniors. While our 80+ members are dressage enthusiasts, they represent a wide range of experience and specific interests. Some are just starting on the dressage journey while others are showing at advanced levels. Many take regular lessons from one or more of the excellent coaches located in Niagara. Others ride by themselves and are learning from videos and articles in books & magazines. All contribute to the growth and development of dressage in Niagara.
Club activities include annual Bronze and Silver Competitions run under Equine Canada regulations and, starting this summer, a series of more casual “Lollipop” shows with lower level classes for green horses, green riders or green combinations. Dressage Niagara also hosts educational activities including riding clinics and seminars and dressage-focused social activities.
The Club also acts as a local chapter of CADORA and collects and remits membership fees for anyone wishing to join CADORA Inc. (national) or Cadora-Ontario (provincial). Dressage Niagara is also associated with Dressage Canada as a local riding club.
